Adding a little variety to muscle building workouts is needed to keep boredom at bay. There are four easy ways to do this, which include switching up exercises, changing intensity, altering frequency, and adding variety to duration times. It’s good to switch up exercises not only to keep from getting bored, but also to keep the body from adapting and producing fewer results as time goes on. Another plus side of variety is your muscles will be worked from different angles making them larger and stronger.
Sometimes the body needs a little break from intense training sessions. A good muscle building way to provide this is to add some low-intensity workouts in between the high-intensity ones. Frequency of workouts can be changed from two to five times a week, as long as the body is worked at least once or twice. Stay at the same frequency for a few weeks, and then switch it up again. Lastly, changing the amount of time spent working out per week is another good way to fight off boredom.
